The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) is phasing out physical bills and has introduced electronic-billing.
The exercise is being piloted in a select NWSC service areas in Kampala.

According to a statement by the NWSC, the electronic billing brings ease and convenience to the customer in accessing, receiving and managing their water and sewerage bills, account statements and much more.
“You can now receive your bill by SMS on your phone, email address, check it on the NWSC website,” the NWSC said.
How it works: It is very simple and convenient.
- You will receive an sms message showing units consumed and your outstanding bill at the end of the month.
2. Attached to the sms message is a link, which you can click and view your detailed water bill. This works for both analog and smart phones.
NWSC has requested its customers to update their contact details including an active phone number and email address to enable better service.
